Digitalisation plays a big role in:

  • Modifications of geometries from which we cannot obtain a CAD file: product redesign
  • Creation of part and mould digital libraries, in order to avoid loss of information in case of theft or accidents (fires)
  • Quality controls: comparison of the digitalized part with the original CAD file to verify the tolerances in parts, tools, plugs and moulds.
